At the HJT Training, we are welcoming the start of festive season with the publication of our latest Mastering Immigration Law (MIL) hardcopy manual which accompanies MIL subscription.
Our authors have been working tirelessly the entire summer on the contents to bring our members fully comprehensive updates on the latest Rules and Regulations in relation to the on-going development of the UK’s immigration sector.
There have been some significant developments to the Points Based and business immigration related applications. For instance, the general hourly rate for the Skilled Workers has been raised to £10.10, the Individual T5 application forms now consolidated into generic “Temporary Worker visa” and “Temporary Worker” forms. Fewer temporary work sub-routes now allow under-18s to apply and not to forget there is a new criteria introduced for Indefinite Leave to Remain requirements for Sole Representatives.
The post Brexit aftermath continues to be impactful on the Rules. The circumstances under which ‘supervening events’ terminate permanent residence and EUSS; and cancellation, curtailment and revocation of EUSS/EUPSS have been specified in MIL with reference to updated guidance on revocation of settled status.
Other highlights of new developments covered by MIL include the latest case laws such as – Sanambar UKSC 30 (related to the Deportation criteria outside the rules), Hydar UKUT 176 (IAC) (Considering new matters on appeal: new case law added ), AA (Sudan) EWHC 1869 (Admin) (observes that the SSHD’s practice of completing some screening interview boxes, as if the answer had come from the asylum seeker was potentially misleading.) Index has been also updated to reflect the new amendments and many more!
With our authors and editors relentless effort to bring you the most updated information of developments, we are confident that Mastering Immigration Law and manual will continue to be your most reliable source of information for your day-to-day casework.
