2/7/18 Updated policy Detention services order 09/2016 Detention centre rule 35 and Short-term Holding Facility rule 32 Version 5.0 includes new statutory definition of torture set out in SI2018/411 and the entry in force of rule 32 of SI2018/409
2/7/18 SI2018/411 adds new sub para 6 to the definition of Torture in Rule 35, SI2001/238 (see change here). 28/6/18 ME (Sri Lanka) [2018] EWCA Civ 1486 FTT did not use heightened degree of scrutiny from Sivakumar, applicable to victims of torture for alleged political crimes which was an error of law
