The ever-evolving world of UK immigration continued to see further developments and profound changes throughout March 2021.
Some of the significant impacts witnessed have represented a consequential result of the court rulings (to name a few) such as Chang that offers interpretation for the accurate calculation of 18 months under the Rules for excess absence in 10 year-long residence cases, Khattak that explains positions of the persons not eligible to apply under the partner route and Mujahid that considers the right to appeal where permission to stay has been granted.
Likewise, changes on the policy front like the position of Cart JRs discontinuation and fee waivers and fee exemptions for Entry Clearance applications comprise other areas of updates that all immigration practitioners should be mindful of for dispensing sound advice for their clients.
